Smart car key fob battery. Replacement battery for the three button key fob / transmitter.

Compatible with ALL Smart car fortwo coupe / cabrio three button key transmitters from 2007 - 2014 (1000cc petrol or 800cc diesel engine)

Single battery - easy to change, simply use a flat head screw driver to divide the two halves of the casing by placing it in the wider section that is designed for the key ring and twist, replace the battery and clip back together.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - if you let the key fob battery go flat in your every day or spare transmitter, it will lose the coding, resulting in a trip to a Mercedes dealer to have the key re-programmed again, which as you can imagine will hurt the bank account, so always have a spare.
