Smart roadster front shock absorber.
Original equipment quality standard replacement front suspension strut / shock absorber / damper for the smart roadster.
These include the cup that the spring sits on - Beware of budget makes that do not include this cup as it is not available alone/as a separate part!
Although its recommended to always change both shock absorbers together, this isn't always possible, so they are available individually.
NOT SIDED - same shock absorber on both sides.
The suspension top nut needs to be removed to replace these units, and often gets damaged during the removal process as it becomes somewhat amalgamated to the thread over the years.
For ease of replacement, and in the event that the old shock absorber cannot be removed easily from your roadster, it is recommended to also purchase a top suspension nut listed separately in this section of the website.
Will fit ALL models of smart roadster and roadster coupe with the 698cc petrol engine.
